There is absolutely a neurotypical brain. Google the article ‘The connections in autistic brains are idiosyncratic and individualized’ – neurotypical brains fire up in very predictable ways to stimuli where autistic brains don’t. Also synaptic pruning follows a very different pattern because autistic brains prune much less, leading to hyperconnectivity.

I think we just attract each other really well because when I go to work I’m deeply reminded how different I am and they definitely have wildly different brains “WHAT?!?! You can’t do X,Y,Z?! It’s easy, just do this” It’s hard to spot another like myself. I definitely feel outnumbered by them and that we are rare
