The BEST phone settings for great food TokToks! I’ve had a good play with mobile video over the last 2 years, tried 101 different things when creating my recipe and food photography and styling content and here’s where I’ve landed: 1. I film in 4k at 30fps as this works best for MY light/shadow play, camera battery life and camera storage space as well as the resolution. It gives me a nice, crisp look for the platforms I used short form food content most. 2. I have tried HDR, but dropped this and for now have settled on  “most compatible” instead of “high efficiency” and simply fim in standard video mode on my camera app. 3. I check the settings of the platform I upload content to, and always choose best resolution. 4. Not shown - I tend to use an external editing app ( @VN EDITOR ) where I also check settings on export. I have mine set on AUTO, mostly. I’m a food photographer and educator first and food content creator second. I’m not nor do I claim to be a cinematographer or videographer and hence am sharing the settings that yield the best results for the type of content I share. I’m also primarily create my videos on iPhone, though a variation of these settings can be applied to any smart phone camera.
