If I’m paying $300 for a ticket, this should include one check bag and one carry on bag, this is how other countries do.. why not the same

I’m with the airlines here. If you choose to go the least expensive route and then pick what important to you (checked bags, early boarding, assigned seating) then I see nothing wrong with it.

Try flying Basic Economy on United. You better not bring a carryon to the gate and have to check a bag. Your cc on file will get charged when the plane gets airborne. 🤫
