The in and out theory. It’s only going to pull the air it wants with bigger breather and the same with slipons only (sound, not real performance).

Low rider s/st comes with a heavy breather already and if u put on a slip on.. my take is no need for a tuner as it’s tuned with a heavy breather

I’ve seen slip ons run great, and I’ve seen slip ons need a tune. Even the ones that ran good ran better tuned to the new exhaust. Run good maybe, but tune to the changes, run great.

or you can buy a power commander or fuel management system i have exhaust and intake with a power commander fuel controller n she is mint nobody ever mentions that

I thought that’s what fuel injection was good for. If you’re carbed then you have to go in and twist some screws but does the injector not see the increase in air and adjust to that ratio?

I have stage one kit. aka full exhaust and breather. run a hotter plug and it runs decent. does run rich and back fire on engine braking lol.

M8 soft tails have cats made in the slip ons not in the header. So how’s that work. Especially if a guy does an air filter upgrade.
