I was looking through my phone and found this video of me taking a pregnancy test the first time after my miscarriage. Micah and I had JUST decided that we would start trying again the following month, so I was a little nervous to find out the result! Even though I was pretty sure it would be positive, I still kind of felt blindsided! And even though I knew Micah would be elated, I wanted to do another VERY CLEAR positive test before telling him. I had barely settled into the idea of being pregnant again. Watching this back I feel like I’m watching a different person! Pregnancy has changed me in so many ways, all of them for the better. I cannot wait to see how becoming a mom continues to grow and stretch me into more of who God intends me to be. PLUS the fact that I get to parent with Micah makes it the greatest gift I could ever imagine. Even though he isn’t the pregnant one, I have seen such beautiful growth in him as well over these last 9 months and I can’t wait to watch him be a dad. #micahandsarah
