Wrong glow plugs. And I wish waglers were $2k. If there was too much piston protrusion it would be hitting the head before it hit the glow plug.

I've seen that before someone put the wrong glow plugs in it. 6.0s have different length glow plugs depending on the year

Not saying you're wrong but I've seen that happen when people put 03 glow plugs in a 04+ 6.0. something to check as well. The 03 glow plugs are longer.

Are you guys gonna reuse the pistons and rods ? Those pistons look like they would clean up and be just fine as long as the protrusion issue didn’t cause any other issues.
