My son cut his hand cooking. It needed stitches. They didn’t give stitches. They glued it closed and no xray or anything else was needed. He was there 20 mins. No meds. Nothing. His bill was 4K

My better half was told at a hospital that they take her insurance, held her for 3 days, couldn’t even figure out her issue and then sent us a 20k bill a month later. I would have paid for the ammo

i live in a border town and have insurance through my job but honestly i get much better care in Mexico for the same amount i would pay in copays and deductibles so i just go to Mexicali for everything

UHC told me they’d cover my birth up to 80%. My baby will be 1 on 12/16 and they still haven’t paid. They are intentionally delaying the claim being processed so they don’t have to pay

My oldest’s birth was high risk. She and I both required several days of specialized care. I had to file bankruptcy bc of the enormous cost insurance wouldn’t pay.

My doctor and I had to fight with them for months to get them to approve an MRI.. guess how much UHC paid once it was approved? Out of the $600 MRI bill they ONLY PAID $8!!! 😡

crazy i almost worked for uhg,,, they made me do a "self paced virtual interview" and offered the lowest pay out of all the jobs i applied for, im actually glad i got a better job.

I got hurt. I didn't have insurance because I couldn't afford the premium and the deductible was going to be $10k anyways. The ER billed me $1800. It cost 18,000 but was discounted because I didn't have insurance. but if I had been insured I would of paid $10k. so I think I won that time. I'm not sure though because they call me daily and I still can't pay them.

told me the ambulance wasn't needed when my son got lost overnight on 160 acres so they weren't gonna cover it. (the incident made national news and the cops called the ambulance) 👍

my mama has this, has a test done that was supposed to be covered demanded $500 before they would do it. another test already done supposed to be covered and she got a bill in the mail.

My friend split their hand open on glass and we took them to the ER because they were bleeding profusely and since the ER didn’t accept their insurance we had to pay thousands of dollars..

Last week I was told that an mri my kid had last calendar year had the payment revoked. Apparently the burden of proof is on me now or I’ll be billed the full $$$$. Nobody picks up the phone 1/2

I had a single trip to the ER when I was 19 for an esophageal ulcer. 15k was my portion of the bill and I was paying $300 per month for my insurance. I had to file bankruptcy at 20.
