@abc7chicago: A father with a deep appreciation for Christmas unveiled his latest seasonal village recently, with his son showing off the sprawling whimsical town – including dazzling lights, a Ferris wheel, Santa Claus “flying” on his sleigh, and more. Michael Olsen captured this video of his dad’s creation and told Storyful his father orders additional items every year to make the display “bigger and better,” adding that he never creates the same design. “He spends a couple of months leading up to Christmas planning the layout and getting everything in place,” Olsen said. “A lot of the background and mountain structures have been handmade by him in order to add depth to the display, with him using real moss and grass from outside to make it more realistic.” #news #christmas
