🇵🇹 Caldo Verde | Soups So Good It Can Cure Any Sickness Ep. 8 INGREDIENTS: Caldo Verde: - 3 pcs of chorizo sausage, sliced - 2 whole potatoes, chopped - 1 whole onion, chopped - 8 cloves of garlic, sliced - chicken stock, as needed - 1 bunch of kale, roughly chopped - Pepper INSTRUCTIONS: - Start by chopping your chorizo into small discs, and fry them in a hot pan. Allow the oil from the chorizo to render, and wait til the pieces are crisp before removing from the container. Set aside for later. - Into the pot with chorizo oil goes the chopped onions, potatoes, and garlic, and saute until softened. - Pour chicken stock and allow the soup to simmer to soften the potatoes, before going blending to create a rich broth.
