it doesn't even looks like a rebellion, Syrian government forces did a few shoot out, talked and left, looks very much like the Iraqis defense during Desert Shield, officers abandoned their post after receiving their appropriate bribes, leaving soldiers without command. this doesn't even looks like a coup because Assad was able to hold an emergency meeting and designate an interim leader and left for Moscow. but definitely UAE and Qatar money was involved
