Man … anyone in VFX… Will back this director up against test screenings 😩😩😩 This same situation happens with highly unfinished fx and visuals… Someone says “I didn’t like the cg here” and instead of answering its a work in progress the studio is like “WELP WE’RE GONNA START THE VFX OF THE ENTIRE SEQUENCE FROM SCRATCH NOW!”

100% accurate. I usually add the shitty dialogue in the shooting script knowing we’ll cut it out for the first preview. If we get “the note”, at least we already have it in the can. Ridiculous.
