Oil splash up on the cylinder walls? The engine has oil jets that do that it’s a Deisel not a splash lube lawnmower

Let your diesel warmup for 5-10 minutes in the winter then slowly take up and go until coolant temp it at normal levels

Maybe this is fine in Utah where the average coldest temp is -14c but up here it gets colder than that to the point where trucks that are plugged in struggle to turn over. You lost me dave
