Great advice! The book map looks a lot like the planning doc I make before writing. I also add on there 'somebody wanted but so' columns to make sure there's a goal and conflict in every chapter.

Do you suggest printing out the entire book with marginal comments? Then using that hard copy as you go through and change things on the word doc?
