In 1999 I went to Mayo Clinic seeing all kinds of specialist and getting all kinds of testing. I had an HMO and my out of pocket cost for a week at Mayo was $45. Insurance should not be profitable

family of 5. $2250/ mo premium with 15k deductible and 20% after met thru UHC.. paid 42k in premium and ded just to be denied for continued care after all of that.

I pay 12k a month in premiums and 8k deductibles and could t get my leukemia meds to live covered by UHC. Who can afford 10k a month for infusions and a pill to survive. wtf are we paying it for.
