I have an old American Ford. RockAuto is so damn easy to use. only problem is I'm in Ireland so it takes weeks to get anything. Bet you could have that part for $10 dollars, next day. 👍

I think long ago in the times of the ancients, there was a recall for that ignition switch because they could arc and catch on fire.

My right speaker died on me quite a while ago, but very occasionally it comes back from the dead at one particular highway exit 😂😂 and then it dies again. i can't be arsed to check it out tho

Those were know for causing vehicle fires from doing just that. I would recommend replacement. Ford actually recalled a few vehicles for this.
