My mom stopped bc single mom and all 6 kids started having kids and my dad stopped well for the same reason. Just too many of us and being poor

My boys are 29 and 30. We are trying something different this year and instead of a Christmas gift we are doing a memory experience in February one weekend. This is the first year trying this.

Even on a very small budget my mom still gets us a small thing. Even if she makes it. She had voiced her wish for it to be more. We don’t care. She is still with us! That’s all that matters!

Sometimes the parents can’t help it. Financially things change with a spouse death or parent living on low income. It’s very expensive.
