When I play a Rogue anytime there is writing or a store sign I would ask my DM friend " Is it thieves can't?😏 " He always had this look🤨No😖 When your the only Rogue I had to try and use the skill!

I’ve tried this so many times with different DM’s and players most DM’s get one or two sessions in and forget all about it. Most players think it’s overwhelming. I still think it’s a cool idea.

Awesome job! If you want something to add tho, I would say some of these need symbols. Such as “safe house this way” or “selling X at the docks” in a code symbol etched onto a quest board.

I had a rogue npc called Sneeze a kenku. so it turned out his thieves can't was the sounds of sneezing and my players 2 rogues begun to sneeze to talk with him 😌😂
