My parents own a business and I cannot tell you how many times we would “fix” a problem and the customer still wouldn’t be happy🤷♀️some people just love being miserable

My husband and I own a pizza shop. A customer ordered a 12 inch pizza ate all but one piece and then said it was horrible and he wasn’t going to pay for it. This is so common it’s disgusting.

Run a small business here and yes, we have learned the refunds almost always end up with a negative review when they’re manipulative like this. It sucks!

when I get a bad review with lies, I do a response with receipts, and try to balance being professional with a take down. my team loves it, and it pisses off the "customer" that left the bad review.

YES!!!! After us paying out of pocket to satisfy an upset customer, they then post a review we took their money and provided minimal service. I wanted to respond "really YOU took MY money"

as soon as I found out the product was good and it was otherwise alcohol, I'd probably tell them alcohol upsets peoples tummies that's normal. Person just want to get there money and still be mad

I rarely leave bad reviews or even try and get a refund. It’s just not worth it. I did review a restaurant once because it made both myself and my husband sick shortly after eating

Now when someone acts up I tell them to hold the thought. I pull out my phone and start recording audio and tell them to proceed. They generally back down.

Got a bad review for my accounting business because an employee of a client couldn't find parking in the front. Plenty of parking on ALL other sides of the large commercial building that I don't own!

I personally don't believe in giving refund cuz I customer doesn't like something. I feel like when you try knew things, that's the gamble you play 🤷🏻♀️

This is why I give no refunds for anything ever. We can try again on the house, or you can just not come back. Too many intentional scammers these days.
