There were NO seatbelts. Early 60s. My brother came home from the hospital in a cardboard bassinet shaped like a picnic basket with handles.

Cars didn’t have seat belts back in the day and they certainly didn’t have car seats meant for savety.

Born '92 my mom just held me why dad drive us from the hospital. Later there was so e sort of seat/bassinett which would fall over at bigger stop or turn 🤷🏼♀️
