I think I’ve shared with you all my conundrum: I have lots of video footage I need to make into reels, but I keep making more seals, and more videos, and they’re starting to pile up 😅🫠😂 Exhibit A: I made this record player seal waaay back in May 😮!! In fact, way back in May, you might remember seeing this very seal in a fail. When I went to press the record into the background wax, it slipped out of the stamp head, and *plop* right into the wax 🫠😭 (If you’d like to see that fail, I think it’s around here somewhere 🤔) Anyhoo, I pulled it out quickly, but the heat warped the record, which those of us raised on vinyl have all experienced!! I did try to save it, by cutting off the wax it had fallen into, once the wax hardened, but the result was a less than perfect look. We’re gonna give it a B+ For some reason, I don’t have a final video clip for this one. Maybe because I didn’t like how it turned out?! Sometimes it takes a couple of days (or in my case, months 😂) to be ok with the art we’ve made, lol. But I DO have a clip of all the seals I made that day, so I’ll just add those on the end instead ☺️ You guys all know I’m a lover of all things music, so it goes without saying that this stamp (Girl Put Your Record On) is one of my favorites 🤩 You can find it, and lots of other “note” worthy stamps 😉 at StrictlyRita.com ✨ P.S.
