Spoken so beautifully and eloquently everybody has their own time and everybody has that one time in their life where they feel like they’ve struggled and possibly been defeated and embarrassed inside, but like you said, your kids never knew it. Absolutely!!! Kids don’t need thousands of dollars in new toys for Christmas, etc. There should be no shame in used. I don’t buy my kids much, never have and they’re just fine.
