Very much a nerve issue. It may be more herniated than slipped disc. Had the same surgery, numbness never went away in my toes.

I’m sure the GP told you but any numbness in the groin and loss of bladder or bowel control go straight to A&E. I had the disc decompression surgery and was up and working after 3 weeks. Good luck!

Neurosurgery nurse👋 You’ll want to get surgery sooner rather than later, that seems like it could be a sign of spinal compression. That should go away with surgery, but don’t delay it any further!

I had disc problems. the numbness & cramping is definitely a nerve issue. if it’s not addressed it could be permanent (mine was)

I've had the same issue for 2 years with my back, my slipped disc is causing my nerve root impingement so it affects my entire right leg, the numbness and hot and cold symptoms are big for this!

Im impressed u got into the doctor same day & they may do scans same day… I got hurt last month & they cant get me in until Feb 🙄 & thats JUST the scan not doc. I do hope you are okay though!!!!!

sound like sciatica my dad had a slipped disc but it wouldn't go back in because his pelvis had rotated 6ml he couldn't walk with how bad he got, so we went to the chiropractor against doctors wishes and he's been walking fine since he walked out of the appointment the chiro found the twisted pelvis and that's why his disc wasn't going back

I had a microdiskectomy back in July for L5/s1. Now I have to wait for another neurosurgeon appointment because the disc has slipped again as well as a couple of other ones.
