@cambridgeuniversity: Looking after our College communities at Christmas 🎄 Creativity and wellbeing went hand in hand at this wreath-making workshop for Trinity Hall students, Fellows and Staff. The College’s gardening team collected foliage, berries and cones from Wychfield gardens as part of their seasonal pruning maintenance. These materials were then used in the wreath-making workshop so that the everyone could enjoy festive crafts. Lisa Déry, Trinity Hall’s Head of Wellbeing, told us, "We are so grateful to our gardening team for hosting an activity that enables everyone to come together around a shared interest. By creating an opportunity to connect with others, learn a new skill and be active, the wreath-making activity contributes to the wellbeing of its participants as well as fostering a sense of community." The wreaths and decorations made in the workshop were used to decorate the doors of Trinity Hall over the break. Want to give it a go? To make the wreath base, bind tightly packed straw to a metal frame with string, or use a ready-made base.
