The photo is not of Alexander Rodchenko, but of Vladimir Mayakovsky - a Soviet poet. But they worked together, Rodchenko drew posters, and Mayakovsky came up with slogans for them.

It’s one more abt constructivism. It’s was really widespread in architecture. My hometown- Yekaterinburg, well known by high concentration of constructivism buildings all around.
