The books are written by Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump's pick to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The children's books are just one example of how Patel has parlayed his time serving in various national security roles in the first Trump administration to building a brand promoting pro-Trump conspiracy theories and selling merchandise. Those conspiracy theories have also been cited by Patel in past public statements promising payback for Trump's perceived enemies. #NPR

The cliché of all clichés…🤩 This is very well known among guitarist, very used over solos. I think as bassists, we should use this too! The concept is simple. We have a Dominant chord (A7 for example), which has a Major 3rd in it (Root M3 P5 m7). Now…instead of just playing the Major 3rd (C#) right away, we can approach through the minor 3rd (C). It’s almost like a blues phrase (since the blues scale has a minor third), and it gives a very nice effect. In this example, I’m doing a hammer on from minor to major 3rd. But another good way of doing it is with a slide!
