When we moved we had to bring the furniture 1st and go back for my rescue dog. I swear it broke me to see her face of relief and panic when I came back for her.

I adopted my fur baby after he was abandoned in an empty house. me and him have moved four times since then, and each time id pack one box first with some of my things and a few of his toys and take it and him to the new place and unpack it in front of him so he knew we were in it together 🥺

I did a box at a time and every time I would take a box to my car, I would take my dog with me to the car. It helped a little.

I got my husky from the humane society and she’s so clingy because she thinks I’m going to leave her. They’re definitely things I can tell she’s scared of because of previous abuse
