That makes no sense. If the deed is forged, there is no validity to the document, and yet they still get the property and you have to go to court???

The county can’t stop fraud, they review thousands of documents a day. They will kick it when it’s missing a stamp or notary.

Happens WAY too much! The Recorder’s Office needs to do their job! I check Title for my clients every time I list the property. There should be ex parte to invalidate fraudulent transfers.

they have electronic recording sites. we use them at our firm and it scares me how easy it is. in another state itc took minutes for approval.
