auto brake actuator engaing so the hydraulics can bring the gear up. If they continued to spin, the centrifugal forces of the spinning mass would be too great for the hydro to overcome

just means they grabbed another gear and dumped the clutch. those tires have to spin really fast to keep it in the air.

It’s the wheel motor exhaust. Each wheel on the a350 has a small motor, sorry each gear has a small motor to help taxi the aircraft when in certain situations. For some reason it was powered up.
