if you PLAN a night in with movies, snack, hot chocolate then yes it's quality time. but if it's js Tuesday and you put a movie on, it's hanging out (in my opinion)

My married friends with 3 kids will be together all day with the kids but then will ask each other to have coffee together in the mornings before kids are up. That’s quality time they’re intentional
