@chasseurdesons: A bird landed on my hand 🐦 I had set out to record the soundscape of a park in Quebec, where the trees creaked intensely. After standing still for 15 minutes, I began to notice many birds around me, very close. Among them were chickadees and nuthatches. These birds started climbing on my microphones and even on me. A few days later, I returned to the park to observe their behavior. The same scenario: I stood still for about ten minutes, and there they were again. I had the idea to raise my hand towards the sky, imitating a tree branch. Remaining motionless, the birds began to perch one by one on my hand. I could observe them up close: a black-capped chickadee, a white-breasted nuthatch. I even managed to record the beating of their wings, their songs, and their calls.
