I think it’s smart business to buy the pre washed. There’s less chance of imperfections and much less work & water cleaning them up. You’d need to have staff member working full time washing and drying the unwashed ones, which would negate any money saved when buying them.

I've got a genuine baking potato question 🤣. In the supermarket the extra special baking potatoes taste so much better. Wny don't they just grow the tastie ones? Are the cheap ones just more product?

If you’re looking at cutting costs, Is it possible to reuse the foil you wrap them in to cook? Also on a Hairdressing Group I follow, they save all the foil from colouring hair and its recycled. I don’t know if they do it purely for environmental purposes or if they are paid for it. But it might be something to consider 🤔
