@thecollinskids: Growing up I had all kinds of dreams. Dreams of being in the WNBA, a professional singer, veterinarian, mechanical engineer, doctor and teacher. They all seem honorable, noble and successful. Yet I was never taught or encouraged to be a mother and wife. In fact, my children innately long to be a wife and mother. Yet, if anyone sees my children pretending to be pregnant or breastfeeding (all natural things of them imitating their mother) they are in disgust, shock and disbelief. How dare you encourage your children into motherhood and homemaking. The truth of it is that motherhood and homemaking has become minimized to being a slave. Yet it’s nothing close. It’s an honor and a joy and it would make my heart so happy to see my daughters become anything God called them to. Even motherhood. The culture has rebelled against God’s design and I’m here to bring back the joy of motherhood and homemaking. I rebelled against it in my first few years and now I’m relishing in the blessings of it. Gods design has no flaws. #family #faith #motherhood #homemaking #11kids #thecollinskids #atruecalling
