Yes but so many teacher are just mean and disrespectful. So many teachers are in it for the job security and not because they love teaching. Adults shouldn’t expect respect when they don’t give it.

At my nephew/nieces schools they call teachers by their first names. Like, that is admin directed. All teachers.
