No. The 49ers are an aging team. Aging teams get injured more. And the younger players are not in the right head space. The window is closed. They’re in rebuild mode now.

Making deep runs in the playoffs hurts longevity bodies can't rest they need a whole off-season and build up key positions that need it like oline

9 ers couldn’t over come the injuries. As soon as we got 1back we lost 2 more. We have a very weak oline, and a defense coordinator with no experience. We will be back! But yes, I’m shocked and 😔

long time niners fan and I'm not shocked at all. they don't get all the breaks the chiefs get and this was the hardest rest discrepancy since like the 60s or some shit. they will be back next season

At the beginning of the season, I had no doubt we were making the playoffs but towards the middle of the season, it was clear then on top of the injuries we were just bad this year. Plus all the stuff

They should be much better next year they had way too many injuries and the OL feel apart so Purdy could not get time to throw the ball. They should be a playoff team again next year.
