My doctor just asked me to trial Pepcid AC today for my yeet-worthy PMDD as my other medications aren’t working. Psychiatry and my therapist are all in agreement to trial. Will update if someone tags

I’ve started to wonder if PMDD is connected to histamine because during my symptoms there’s certain foods I can’t eat bc they cause panic attacks or flushing and other insensitivity signs :/

It’s more the heightened cortisol that comes with the PMDD that creates the histamine reaction, that’s the pathway of how they’re related. I take Benadryl for a H1 blocker & Pepcid as an H2 blocker🥰
