@vennesahnichole: We woke up on Christmas to find our glorious cat son Gomez furiously bathing, and a strong chemical smell. Apparently he knocked over a bottle of Lysol on himself and was bathing it off causing extreme respiratory distress. after an emergency vet visit , steroids and antibiotics. I don't think Lysol is the issue, I keep all my cleaning agents in a secured cabinet. any large amount of something an animal shouldn't have can make them sick so you should still secure new cleaners
