Double Chocolate Sourdough Discard Cookies This is one of my favorite creations: my own double chocolate sourdough discard cookies 🤎 Fudgy, rich, and seriously addictive. (Brownie-style – rich, soft, and packed with chocolate chips) ✨ Ingredients: 	•	225 g browned butter, cooled (1 cup) 	•	250 g brown sugar (1¼ cups) 	•	150 g granulated sugar (¾ cup) 	•	1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk 	•	1 tbsp vanilla extract 	•	1 tbsp heavy cream or 2 tbsp plain yogurt 	•	110 g unfed sourdough discard (about ½ cup) 	•	250 g all-purpose flour (about 2 cups) 	•	30 g unsweetened cocoa powder (⅓ cup) 	•	½ tsp baking soda 	•	½ tsp salt 	•	½ tsp instant coffee powder (optional, enhances the chocolate) 	•	2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, or a mix) ⸻ 👩‍🍳 Instructions: 	1.	Mix the browned butter with both sugars. 	2.	Add the egg, yolk, vanilla, and cream/yogurt. 	3.	Stir in the sourdough discard. 	4.	Add the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt, and coffee powder. 	5.	Fold in the chocolate chips. 	6.	Scoop into 70–90 g cookie dough balls. Chill for at least 1 hour. 	7.	Bake at 180 °C / 350 °F for 11–13 minutes. 	8.	At minute 8–9, gently bang the tray against the oven rack to flatten slightly. 	9.	Let cool on the tray for 10 minutes before transferring.      10.
