I lived in a spot with mass totality in Ohio. My mom and I watched it on the back porch. It was trippy to hear all nature get silent & it get cold so fast!

I drove from MD to upstate NY to friend’s house. Rain and overcast 😫 Cool seeing just really dark clouds but the bonus, saw friend after many years. About 45 minutes later, clear skies- of course.

My school was so close from Totality up in New England that a university nearby invited us to come and view it from total darkness!!! They gave us the highest balconey and it was so amazing to see!

we werent in totality but I looked up plane tickets to houston, and there was 1 flight leaving in an hour where coworkers and I could have made it before totality. But we’d probably be fired haha
