@catladytails: In case you don’t follow us on Insta, Calcifer has had a pretty rough month! 😭 ​ ​What started out as an ouchy paw quickly turned into a wound that wouldn’t heal. So after trying all types of meds, Calcifer’s paw was biopsied and sent off this week to be analyzed. While his paw heals, he has to wear a cone for two weeks. ​ ​During his vet visit, they pulled Calcifer’s blood to make sure he didn’t have an infection and then discovered his blood sugar was high, saying he had diabetes. However, they didn’t do the proper test to confirm, so yesterday I booked *another* appointment to do the fructosamine test to know for sure. We now have to wait on those test results in the meantime. ​ ​All things considered, Calcifer has done great with the cone this week.
