There are 5 Hydraulic pumps on the 737. All 5 can be lost and the landing gear and flaps can still be extended; even with total fluid loss. There is definitely more to this event than it appears to be

Just a heads up to non airline people. 737 doors are notoriously heavy to open up as there’s no automated assist like Airbus planes. With how the planes were laying, there was no way for the emergency

Is it possible that a pilot could forget to put the gear down in all the confusion of a lastminute runeay change and possible bird strike? Thats what i think happened

This looks like a hydraulics failure, air breaks not deployed nor is the landing gear! But they could have not deployed the landing gear to try and slow the plane down if they didn’t have hydraulics.

I dont understand why they werent any plan A to Z for bird strike. I mean it's a common knowledge that it might happen anytime in the air but looks like there is nothing the pilot can do?
