20 yrs ago bought a snap on pair, couldn’t cut small gauge wire. The snap on guy recommended to me and sold me a pair of Knipex,, hands down the best I have ever used

I wore out 4 or 5 of them over the years, they always warranteed them when they got wiggly. I'm retired now but used my SnapOn tools for 45 years, and I still have almost all of them.

Knipex is WAY better. Coming from a Tech that travels all over Canada, US, and Mexico, SnapOn is overpriced and okay quality. Knipex, worth the money and can’t beat the quality. Same goes for WERA, PB Swiss Tools, Stahlwille, way way better than SnapOn.

Bought a new pair of snap on lineman pliers about ten years ago. They were stiff and dull. I ended up trashing them, literally the worst pliers I've ever owned.

speed cutting what. no the jaws need to close quickly to make a precise cut. slow cutting will leave jags . they are precise atall there press fit. and they shouldn't be

give it couple more years and snap on will go down, no hate, but online prices, other brands, yes i know snap on goes to the shop weekley but thats not always the case, alot of brands are catching up

I would agree, except most of the time I saw that the tightness is actually because of trash metal left in the joint. And in your video it appears to have trash metal shavings coming out of the joint

Snap on makes great tools, the cutters being so tight are highly inconvenient when someone has to do a lot of wiring. Also the cost of the tools have lost the appeal of the tool.
