Unlikely due to engine power. More likely damage to the hydraulic systems, which would explain no flaps or gear. If this were the case, a risk of loosing all flight controls so 19 was a better call.

i think they turned off the wrong engine after go around which is the reason why they didn't have hydraulics for flaps and landing gear. that's why reverse thrust was active only on one side

The youngest was a 3 year old, the crash possibly was caused by late touchdown which we can see in the footages, possible Pilot Failure after a Bird Strike + Hydraulic Failure

That runway is too short. Not suitable for the Boeing 737 to land. They’ve been instructed to land on that runway rather than the other one in which they’ve supposedly to land.

More than likely pilot error. They could have continued the runway 01 approach. Did a go around and forgot the flaps and gear.

Perfect belly landing. Cement wall “protecting” ILS system never should’ve been there. Plane was fine until it hit the wall. Any situation if running off that runway would have this result too.

It's 100% Pilot Error, as they could've easily deployed their gear. They had hydraulic system B after all. their 2nd thrust reverser was the one that activated so they randomly didn't deploy gear

Pilots meant to cycle the gear to troubleshoot an indication issue. Had a bird strike and forgot to put the gear back down. Ignored the gear warning thinking it was bad indication
