Always feed him in his crate! Lookup on tik tok tips with crate training. It’s hard but so so worth it!!

(1) This is exactly how I did it (minus the tv, I kept all lights and electronics off with only a fan for white noise) and I had my fingers in there. Tired them out and got them to sleep in my lap

start putting his food bowls in his crate so he eats in there. also give him a treat everytime he goes near it, and play games with him where u throw the treat in the crate (1)

Got my 9 week dachshund use to it within less then a week, the crate is in the corner of my room I would cover her up at night time with a cover sometimes during the day when I would eat or be tidying

Put it on the floor and keep it open throughout the day. Put his food and water bowl in there and put his treats there as well. That helped me along woth other videos I found on here 💗

I have two mini dachshunds that I somehow was able to crate train. They now sleep sound all through the night in their crates. My recommendation is some sort of little bedding, toys, and definitely a chew toy but not raw hide of course. I use bully sticks, they love them and they are not harmful! Patience is also key! Don’t give in. They soon realize it’s a safe place where the sleep, eat, and get treats! Good luck! 😁

I got my pup one of those heart beat warming stuffies and it helps them feel like they’re close to you or their mother. Get a cushy bed and give treats any time they are in there not crying!
