I was on Wellbutrin XL before having kids and have now been on it after having kids (for the past year and a half) and it has seriously been life changing. It has helped my depression SO much!

Different mechanism of action. Maybe ask your doc about an SNRI or another SSRI to start :)

If you’re doing good it doesn’t make sense to switch. That’s just my opinion I’m no doctor; however I’ve been on a lot of different antidepressants. It’s scary & needs to be monitored by you & it doc.

i loved wellbutrin but fun fact you shouldn't take it if you've ever had a seizure! my doc didn't mention this, so make sure to advocate for yourself if you have a history of seizures!

I did the genetic test that tells you what works best with your chemistry. I switched to an SNRI. Everyone is so different. Wellbutrin was almost the end of me, but so many people have great results.

Wellbutrin is an upper, so it gives energy. if youre high strung you want to avoid it it can increase anxiety panic feeling, but otherwise I hear it's really good!
