But it’s not about the skill of a worker, it’s about the money the company can save when they sponsor a worker. Tesla just laid off a bunch of workers and are bringing in H1B visa holders.

I have worked in IT. There are qualified workers here. But it’s cheaper to outsource and hire someone with an H1b than it is to pay someone here with the same skillsets. It’s about the bottom dollar.

My daughter can’t get into a Calstate bc RN programs are impacted. So our only choice is to pay $130K for her BSN it’s insane. We shouldn’t have to pay so freaking much for an education😡

Just got my CS degree from nyu and a lot of students are there on h1b visas. There are bright students but also average ones. I think we should limit it to students from top 50-100 schools w. good gpa

I used to work for Big 4 and I worked with a good bit of H1B holders. Alot went to college here too…paying that outta state or international tuition! They paid their dues!
