I used to work for Mercedes Benz and BMW In Europe. The car is actually not allowed to leave if tires are under 1.6mm. Very unsafe during winter they will still cause a scene because it costs money.

this is why techs shouldn't get an upsell bonus and it's why we don't. We don't need to or want to because it only creates extra work we won't get anything for. We only advise if it actually needs it
