@thecollinskids: Let’s talk fasting. One thing I didn’t cover is how long do we fast. I always ask God how long. He’s given me different times every time. He will give you times that are inconvenient. Don’t pick dates that make it easiest but rather whatever dates God gives. My usual time frame is anywhere from 3 days to 11 days…so far. It’s not sun up to sun down but continual through the dates he’s given. Sacrificing social media and sugar and whatever is controlling you is great. It’s sanctifying and teaches self control and obedience but ultimately it’s not a fast but a sacrifice. Fasting is HARD. Don’t expect it to be easy. And don’t give up. Your body actually heals through fasting even if it feels like it’s dying. You got this!!
