I was taught in my screenwriting classes that the reason him & Jordan Peele can write like that is because theyre also directing their script if ur not tho you don’t wanna “direct on the page”

It's always better to be bad with style than good but unmemorable. Look at a lot of famous directors and their older work will be bad but have that spark you love about them.
