We have a 132kva pylon on some land we own, they carried out works and upgraded incoming cables , but got rid of the earth from the sub and installed one of these systems , why would they do this ?

I remember seeing this on site 25 years ago for lightening conducting similar holder but but you filled with powder and lit with a spark 😆
