@vanitybyvon: This message is a long one. Take a little more time for YOU. Take time to heal. Take time to acknowledge what’s going on in YOU! We walk around acting as if we are not going thru anything, and when people ask we say “I’m good!” As if being honest shows a sign of weakness. I chose not to have people around me that I cannot be transparent with. If I have to hide my feelings from you, or you have to constantly hide how you feel from me, then I can’t consider you a friend. I cherish having relationships where we can come to each other about anything. I want relationships where we can grow together, cry together, support each other, and help each other get thru! I’m a firm believer that everybody needs somebody, but that all starts with self love! Love yourself enough to know when you need time. Love yourself enough to stop dealing with what you don’t deserve. Love yourself enough to acknowledge you’re not okay. Love yourself enough to know that you are human and your emotions are valid and it’s okay to feel them. Also love yourself enough to know when and where to set boundaries for your own mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. I’ve been shown a lot of things by people I loved that hurt me more than they will know, but I love myself enough to feel and deal. With all of that said, make sure that you love you FIRST. You love you more than anyone else can. Make you the love of your life. Watch no matter what else takes place, the love you have for yourself will overcome it all.
